Cathy Hagan assists business owners in developing marketing and financial strategies that lead to growth and increased value. Over the last 20+ years, she has been recognized by the SBDC at the regional, state and national levels for her contributions to the success of small businesses.
Ms. Hagan is a Certified Profit Mastery facilitator, helping business owners understand how to use financial information to make decisions. She holds professional certificates in nonprofit management, international trade, and business continuity. Ms. Hagan earned her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Emory University and her MBA from the University of South Florida. Additionally, she is a Certified Financial Planner licensee.
Ms. Hagan is active in numerous economic development organizations. She is a member of Oceanside Rotary and a graduate of Leadership Jacksonville’s Class of 2002.

Ben Bowman is the Vice President of Strategic Solutions for Velocity Advisory Group. Ben has a passion for building high performance teams and helping leaders reach their goals. He focuses on strategic planning, training, consulting, and working with clients through execution and implementation. He also develops much of Velocity’s product and training curriculum. Ben has worked with clients of all sizes—from start-ups and entrepreneurs to Fortune 500 corporations with global presence.
Ben launched his career in the nonprofit industry and has since held various management roles in the public and private sectors. Notably, he served as the district administrator for a state representative and as a congressional aide for a U.S. congressman. Ben has a unique ability to see the big picture and drill down to the details. His diversified professional experience has created a passion for helping organizations succeed and equipping leaders to lead.
Ben is actively involved in the community and always looking to give back. He is a sought after- speaker, regular contributor for several publications, and has served on numerous community boards and committees.
Ben and his dog, Leonidas,live just outside of Philadelphia where they spend most of their free time outdoors or traveling. He is a graduate of the University of Floirda Warrington College of Business and bleeds Orange and Blue.

Jennifer Holland founded Holland creative in 1997 and is one of only 31 Certified Brand Specialists in the United States. The group meets twice a year to continue to evolve best practices for brand building. With a communications and consulting career spanning more than two decades, Jennifer is known for having the expertise to grow a client’s brand into an innovative, unique signature for its products and services. She has fine-tuned a process of brand development that is unlike any other. In fact, she and her partner, Jackie Weathers, are known thought leaders in brand strategy with a recent article published in the international Journal of Brand Strategy on the Holland Helix® model.
Holland People + Brands is a consultancy on brand development. Jennifer is a frequent speaker and is also well-known for developing and delivering the Build Your Brand DIY Workshop® series around the Southeast. She is the CEO of both Holland People + Brands and its sister agency, Holland Creative Services, where her team’s award-winning branding and communication materials are created.

With 30 years Human Resources experience, Suzi Lemen, the CEO of Dynamic Corporate Solutions, has been offering practical and creative Human Resources solutions to businesses from Fortune 50 giants to small local enterprises. As an expert in the Human Resources function, she possesses a unique blend of technical, interpersonal and business skills which allows her to excel in the art of Human Resources management.
As a small business owner, she has grown her consulting company from scratch, purchased another company and helped many small businesses with their growth plans and human resources needs.
In 2012, her team designed an affordable HR Toolkit for small businesses that contains a complete collection of all the components needed for an effective, government compliant Human Resources program.
Suzi earned a BA of Human Resources and Psychology from the University of Kansas and an MS in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Florida. In 2005, she was recognized as the Entrepreneur of the Year by the Women in Business of Northeast Florida and DCSI was #108 on the INC. 500 Fastest Growing Companies list. In addition, Suzi was the Jacksonville Regional Chamber’s Small Business Leader of the Year for 2008 and the 2008 SBA Champion for Women in Business. Suzi’s motto is “People are your greatest asset.”
